Mobile Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA) – Frequently Asked Questions (Rev 02/12/2018)

The Lindell Bank Mobile App provides for a check deposit from an iPhone, iPad, or Android Smartphones by taking a picture of the front and back of your check. Some restrictions apply.

This is a FREE service. There is no cost to you to deposit items through Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA). However, there may be additional data costs related to accessing the Lindell Bank mobile app from your mobile device. Please check your wireless plan or verify with your wireless carrier.

Yes, 1) you must use internet banking and mobile banking and 2) you must also be an established Lindell Bank customer for a minimum of ninety (90) days, 3) maintain a positive average balance 4) have low number of NSF items & chargebacks in the previous 12 months prior to Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA) being enabled. Certain businesses are ineligible, such as MSB’s.

Yes. An accumulated total of $500.00 can be deposited daily or $1,500.00 monthly. Higher limits may apply for customers calculated to have lower risk factors as shown below.

We also have restrictions on the types of items that can be deposited via Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA).

  • Checks made payable to the account owner or joint owners that have been properly endorsed.
  • Only original checks.

Items that CAN NOT be deposited with RDA: (these items must be negotiated in person at your local branch)

  • Foreign Checks
  • Savings Bonds
  • Third Party Checks
  • Returned or re-deposited items
  • Substitute or Check 21 items

Checks must be endorsed with the payee signature(s). “For Mobile Deposit Only, Lindell Bank” MUST also follow the payee endorsement(s). Checks without proper endorsement or illegible will be rejected or returned for proper endorsement.

  • Sign into your Lindell Bank app.
  • Select the Remote Deposit Anywhere Button.
  • Click the Add (Ë) symbol in the top right corner.
  • Ensure check is endorsed correctly & legibly.

  • Take a photo of the front & back of the check.
  • Select the Account to deposit into.
  • Enter the Check Amount.
  • Select Submit.

Illegible endorsements will be rejected or returned for proper endorsement. However, you may try flipping the item upside down to see it if it will accept it. Please note: this will only work on the back of the check.

You will receive an email notification once your deposit is received.

No. Only one check may be deposited per transaction.

Funds from deposits made by 4:00 pm CST Monday through Friday will be considered deposited on that business day and subject to the Regulation CC Funds Availability policy of Lindell Bank. Otherwise, the deposit will be made on the next business day we are open for business. Deposits made on Saturday or throughout the weekend are processed on the next business day following that weekend. Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Holidays are not considered business days for processing purposes, even if the bank may be open on those days.

We request that you keep your check for 30 days in a secure location. After 30 days, validate that the correct amount has been deposited and destroy the check by first writing “VOID” across the check and shredding it. Lindell Bank will provide access to FREE secure shredding of these items at your local branch.

Once Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA) is enabled for your business Online Banking, all of the users that are set up for the business will be able to utilize this service. Currently, there is not a way to limit this access.

  • Write legibly in blue or black ink. Other colors, once scanned, are harder to read & may delay processing.
  • Make sure the check amount entered matches the amount written.
  • Make sure the check is endorsed properly with signature and “For Mobile Deposit, Lindell Bank
  • Flatten and smooth crumpled checks before taking the photos.
  • Keep the check within the screen corners when capturing your photo.
  • Make sure your photos are taken in a well-lit area on a dark background.
  • Keep your phone steady and flat above the check when taking your photos.
  • Make sure your check image is in focus before submitting your deposit.
